WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children - better known as the WIC Program - serves to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care. After eating dinner at some friends house we were chatting about how my Hubby is not a fan of the natural peanut butter but has a favoite brand Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter, 40-Ounce Jars (Pack of 3)
18 quarts of 1% milk
1 box of Rice Chex Cereal, 12.8-Ounce Box (Pack of 6)
1 box of honey bunches of oats
5 cans of Tuna
2 pds of slices American Cheese
1 pds of Sharp Chadder Cheese
2 dozen eggs
1 qt of orange juice
1 can of concentrate apple juice
1 box of UNCLE BEN'S ORIG BROWN RICE
32 jars of Baby Fruits,Veggies and meat
2 boxes of Baby Ceral
2 jars of peanut butter
IngredientsI did not put cayenne pepper in mine but rather sprinkled Garlic Powered on top. They were a big hit at my house..
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 sticks butter, at room temperature
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar, at room temperature
Directions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
Sift the flour, salt and cayenne into a bowl and reserve. With an electric hand mixer cream together the butter and cheese. Add the flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time until the batter is smooth. Scrape the batter into a 1 gallon resealable plastic bag. Cut a corner from the plastic bag and on an ungreased sheet pan, pipe 2 rows each for every straw, about 5 inches long and 2 inches wide.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to racks to cool.
